ECS Federal being acquired by On Assignment for $775 million

ECS Federal, a privately-held government services contractor delivering artificial intelligence, IT and engineering services to commercial and government enterprises, has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by On Assignment for $775 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, ECS will continue to operate under the ECS brand as a division of ASGN, and the current leadership team, led by George Wilson, will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and execution of its growth strategy.

Based in Calabasas, California, On Assignment was founded in 1985. The company provides professionals in the technology, digital, creative, healthcare technology, and life sciences sector.
