Dell Launches New Windows 8 Devices

Dell  has launched three new PCs in its upcoming fall portfolio: the XPS 12, XPS One 27 and Inspiron One 23. Dell is also offering Windows 8 as an option now, on its current XPS, Inspiron, Latitude, OptiPlex and Precision brands.

XPS 12: The XPS 12 is two devices in one. It is a laptop that converts to a tablet, with a flip hinge touchscreen display. Prices for the XPS 12 convertible starts at $1,199.99.

XPS One 27: The XPS One 27  features a 27-inch Wide Quad HD Display, and an articulating stand that tilts the display to a 60-degree angle, providing additional options when using the touchscreen interface. Prices start at $1599.99.

Dell is also updating its popular systems in time for the holidays. The  XPS 13 has been updated with a new specification, including the Ivy Bridge chipset. The XPS 13 prices start at $999.99. The Inspiron One 23 All-in-One PC is now available with a touchscreen option.

Dell says it will unveil additional product platforms in the XPS, Latitude, OptiPlex and Inspiron brands, as well as new monitors in the coming weeks.
