Dell Declares A 13-Cent Special Cash Dividend

Dell

Dell has declared a special cash dividend of 13 cents per common share, marking the company’s last payout as a publicly-traded entity. The record date for the special dividend will be the close of business on Oct. 28, 2013. 

A deal where Michael Dell, the company’s founder, chairman and CEO, will acquire Dell along with technology investment firm Silver Lake Partners, was approved in September this year.
