Defense Intelligence Agency selects Workday for HR modernization

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has chosen Workday’s Government Cloud for its human resources modernization effort. The size of the transaction was not disclosed.

Workday will work with value-added reseller Groundswell, which has federal modernization experience, to help DIA accelerate recruitment and onboarding efforts.

Federal agencies face technological changes, shifting demographics, and long wait times to hire, particularly with younger prospective employees, says Workday. Only 7% of the federal workforce is under 30, and nearly 30% of federal leaders will be eligible for retirement within five years.
