DataStax Raises $45 Million

DataStax has completed a $45 million series D funding round led by Scale Venture Partners. Existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Crosslink Capital and Meritech Capital Partners also participated in the round, and were joined by new investors DFJ Growth and Next World Capital.

DataStax will use the investment to further its international expansion, and for channel growth and product development, says the company.

DataStax sells an enterprise-grade commercial version of the Apache Cassandra NoSQL database.
