Data analytics and AI startup Armorway Raises $2.5 million

Armorway, a Venice, California-based data analytics startup with an AI platform, has completed a $2.5 million seed round. Investors include Aristos Ventures, as well as private angel investors.

According to a press release announcing the funding, Armorway will use the capital to deliver “descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics with cognitive intelligence and deep machine learning to dynamically understand and respond to all types of security threats.”

The core technology used in Armorway was developed in partnership with the University of Southern California through grants from the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense and the US Army Research Office.
