Cypress Semiconductor Appoints Badri Kothandaraman India Head

Cypress Semiconductor has appointed Badri Kothandaraman as executive vice president and executive director of Cypress Semiconductor India. In his new role, Mr. Kothandaraman, who has been with Cypress for over sixteen years, will be responsible for managing and growing India operations. He reports directly to Cypress president and CEO, T.J. Rodgers.

Mr. Kothandaraman joined Cypress in 1995 as a technology development engineer in the US. In 1998, he moved back to India to run a design team that delivered over 25 SRAM products in technologies ranging from 0.5-micron to 90-nm. He returned to California in 2008 as a business unit director in the Memory Products Division. Mr. Kothandaraman returns to India to oversee all of Cypress India’s operations.
