Cylance raises $100 million Series D funding

Cylance,  a cybersecurity company that applies artificial intelligence algorithms to predictively identify and stop malware and advanced threats, has closed a $100 million Series D funding round. The investment was led by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and Insight Venture Partners, as well as follow-on investments by the company’s existing investors.

Cylance says it will use the funding to expand sales, marketing and engineering programs for its endpoint protection go-to-market strategies.
