Cloudflare raises $150 million

Cloud network platform company Cloudflare has raised $150 million, in a funding round led by Franklin Templeton. In another development, the company appointed Stan Meresman, former CFO of Silicon Graphics, and Maria Eitel, founder and co-chair of the Nike Foundation, to its board.

Cloudflare last raised funding in 2014, closing a round of $110 million. The company has raised $330 million to date. Investors in Cloudflare include New Enterprise Associates, Union Square Ventures, Venrock, Pelion Venture Partners, Greenspring Associates, CapitalG (formerly Google Capital), Microsoft, Baidu, Qualcomm, and Fidelity.
