CloudBees appoints Raj Sarkar as CMO

CloudBees has appointed Raj Sarkar as its new chief marketing officer (CMO). In his new role, Mr. Sarkar will spearhead the company’s worldwide marketing initiatives, Cloudbees said in a statement.

Mr. Sarkar’s career includes advisory roles for startups, where he shaped marketing strategies and market entry approaches. He has held the CMO position at 1Password, and at Prisma Cloud by Palo Alto Networks. Additionally, his resume includes a stint at Atlassian, managing marketing for cloud products, and formative marketing roles at Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.

Mr. Sarkar’s appointment follows the recent executive additions of Anuj Kapur as CEO and Marc Gemassmer as CRO at CloudBees.
