Citizens Bank names Lamont Young head of Digital

Citizens Bank, part of the 145.2 billion Citizens Financial Group, has appointed Lamont Young as head of Digital. Mr. Young will oversee Citizens’ investments in digital, online and mobile banking, digital marketing, user experience, and social media. He will also continue to manage his existing responsibilities for multi-channel marketing, said the financial institution in a statement.

Prior to assuming his new role, Mr. Young served as senior vice president of digital and direct marketing, a position he held since joining Citizens in 2012. Previously, Mr. Young worked with Bank of America.

Mr. Young earned his BS in Marketing from Penn State University and his Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University.
