Cisco to acquire Armorblox

Cisco has announced plans to acquire Armorblox, a cybersecurity firm specializing in the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and natural language understanding.

The Armorblox team will be incorporated into Cisco’s Security Business Group, working closely to integrate Generative AI-powered experiences into the company’s security offerings.

The acquisition is expected to close by the end of Cisco’s fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
