CircleCI Raises $18M

Software development and delivery company CircleCI has raised $18 million in Series B funding. The investment was led by Scale Venture Partners. Existing investors DFJ, Baseline Ventures, and Harrison Metal also participated in the round, bringing total financing for the company to $28 million. Andy Vitus, partner at Scale Venture Partners, has joined the CircleCI board.

CircleCI says it plans to use the funds to drive product development, expand operations, and scale sales and infrastructure. According to the company website, CircleCI clients include Facebook, Kickstarter, Spotify, and GoPro.
