Canon Launches ImageWARE Secure Audit Security Software

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Canon has introduced the imageWARE Secure Audit Manager Express, a information security software solution that provides capture, archive and audit capabilities of activities performed on Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFPs along with other Canon MEAP-enabled devices such as print, scan, fax, copy and send jobs.

Since imageWARE Secure Audit Manager Express exports audit data directly to a Windows folder as opposed to using a centralized database to store job information, it fits into IT infrastructures of practically all sizes, says Canon. The software stores job attribute information from printed or scanned documents, such as who sent it, when it was sent, and a copy of the actual document image.

ImageWARE Secure Audit Manager Express integrates with uniFLOW, a Canon-exclusive software that provides control over an organization’s entire print output infrastructure. This combination of solutions allows the system to support a wider fleet of devices, including non-Canon branded MFPs and SFPs.

imageWARE Secure Audit Manager is available immediately through Canon Authorized Dealers, Canon Business Solutions and Océ.

Suggested retail pricing for imageWARE Secure Audit Manager is as follows:

Item MSRP
imageWARE Secure Audit Manager Express Server 1 license $ 3,500
iR Agent 1 Device $ 1,120
iR Agent 10 Devices $ 10,000
iR Agent 50 Devices $ 44,500
iR Agent 100 Devices $ 80,000
1 year Maintenance Support iWSAM Express Server 1 License $ 645
