Brendan Eich Is Now Mozilla CEO

Co-founder and current CTO Brendan Eich, who is also the creator of JavaScript, is appointed to the role of CEO, says Mozilla. Acting CEO Jay Sullivan will stay on through the transition, and then leave to pursue new opportunities. Li Gong is being named chief operating officer, while Mitchell Baker remains executive chairwoman of the Mozilla Foundation.
