Brazilian Site Elo7 Receives Investment From Insight Venture Partners

Elo7, a marketplace for buying and selling handicraft products in Brazil has raised capital from Insight Venture Partners. The new capital will be used to accelerate marketing initiatives, invest more in building the technology platform, recruit industry expertise and strength Elo7’s community of artisans, says the company.

Insight Venture Partners is an existing investor in companies, like Twitter, Tumblr, Privalia and Groupalia.

In September 2011, Elo7 received a first round of capital from Monashees Capital, an investor in Brazilian venture capital, and Accel Partners.
