BlackBerry May Lay Off 40%

BlackBerry

BlackBerry is likely to lay off 40% of its workforce. The company employed 12,700 people as of March 2013. BlackBerry has slashed over 7,000 jobs since 2011.

According to various media reports, the layoffs will cut across all departments and will occur in waves, likely affecting several thousand employees.
