BitTitan raises $15 million in Series A funding

BitTitan, a cloud services enablement company founded by former Microsoft developer Geeman Yip, has closed a $15 million round of Series A financing led by TVC Capital. The round also included participation from Tao Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based family office. Steve Hamerslag, managing partner at TVC Capital, will join its board of directors.

The funding marks the first time the company has raised any capital since its founding in 2007. BitTitan says it will use the financing to augment its MSPComplete platform with more managed services automation capabilities, and to expand into new geographic markets.
