Instapaper Sells Majority Stake To Betaworks

Marco Arment, creator of Instapaper, has sold a majority stake in his company to Betaworks. “Instapaper is much bigger today than I could have predicted in 2008, and it has simply grown far beyond what one person can do,” says Mr. Arment in a blog post.

Mr. Arment will continue working as advisor to Instapaper indefinitely. The size of the transaction was not shared.
