Barnes & Noble Slashes Nook Prices

Nook Media,  a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, has slashed Nook prices. Beginning November 4, 2012, customers can purchase Nook tablets starting at $159 and Nook Color for $139.

The newer Nook HD models are retailing for $199. The company started shipping the HD editions in the last week of October.
