Autoliv to develop, market LiDAR sensors with Velodyne

Automotive safety systems company Autoliv has signed an agreement with Velodyne, where the company will develop auto-grade LiDAR sensors using Velodyne’s 3D software technology and LiDAR ASIC engine. Autoliv will also serve as the primary commercial and technical interface to customers for awarded business.

The first applications will be in the RoboTaxi segment.
