Autodesk invests in Project Frog

Connected developer cloud platform Autodesk has inked an alliance with Project Frog, a San Francisco product and technology company that designs, develops and delivers software and prefabricated building platforms.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies plan to develop a cloud-based platform to standardize and simplify data flow between the architecture studio, the factory and the jobsite, said the companies in a statement. Autodesk Forge Fund, an investment fund of $100 million from Autodesk, also invested an undisclosed amount in Project Frog, as part of the collaboration.
