Apple App Store Crosses 25 Billion Downloads

Apple’s App Store has reached 25 billion downloads, since its launch in 2008. How many is 25 billion? Quite a few. For example, the population of the world stands at a mere 7 billion.

Since we are spewing statistics, how about some more numbers. $4 billion. Thats the amount Apple paid to Apple developers from App Store sales. How about 248,000? There are 248,000 registered iOS developers in the U.S. 210,000? There are as many iOS app economy jobs in the U.S.
