Anthropic introduces Claude

Anthropic has released Claude, its next-generation AI assistant based on the company’s research into training ‘helpful, honest, and harmless’ AI systems.

Claude is accessible through a chat interface and the Anthropic API in a developer console. According to Anthropic, Claude is capable of a variety of conversational and text processing tasks. Use cases include summarization, search, creative and collaborative writing, Q&A, and coding.

There is a lighter, cheaper, and faster variation of Claude, called Claude Instant.
