Andrew Ng raises $175 million for AI fund

Former head of Baidu AI group/Google Brain, Coursera co-founder and adjunct professor of Stanford University, Andrew Ng has raised $175 million for his artificial intelligence fund – the AI Fund.

Mr. Ng will be leading the AI Fund as its general partner. Eva Wang, formerly a partner at Fenwick & West will be partner and COO. Steven Syverud, cofounder and CEO of Sycamore, and product/business development manager with Coursera is also joining the fund as partner.
