Andreessen Horowitz Joins 2012 NewME Accelerator As Sponsor

The NewME Accelerator has signed on Valley venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, known among other things to be investors in Facebook, as a sponsor. NewME is a 12-week immersive residential tech accelerator for minority led start-ups presented by Google, and includes Tagged and HP among other corporate supporters. The latest batch of the accelerator program is scheduled to start next month.

Ben Horowitz, general partner and co-founder of Andreessen Horowitz, participated in the first cycle of the NewME Accelerator in 2011 as well.
