Amazon Launches Fire HD Tablets For Children

Amazon has launched Fire HD Kids Edition, a tablet the company says is built from the ground up for kids. There is more. The Fire HD Kids Edition comes with a two-year worry-free guarantee, Amazon says it will replace the tablet no questions asked if kids break it. The tablet also includes a year of Amazon FreeTime unlimited, at no additional cost.

The Fire Kids Edition features a quad-core processor, HD display, front- and rear-facing cameras, as well as Dolby Digital audio. The tablets are available for pre-oder, and available in two flavors – $149 for a 6” tablet and $189 for a 7” tablet.
