AllThingsD, Wall Street Journal Part Ways

AllThingsD

All Things Digital and Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal are not renewing their agreement when the contract expires at the end of this year.

Veteran technology journalist Walt Mossberg will be leaving the Journal at the end of this year, ending a twenty-year stint.

Gerard Baker, editor in Chief of Dow Jones and managing editor of the Wall Street Journal, says the Journal plans to embark on a major global expansion of its technology coverage, which will include adding reviewers, bloggers, visual journalists, editors, and reporters covering digital.

The Wall Street Journal is building a new digital home for technology news and product reviews. The Journal will also be expanding its conference franchise to include an international technology conference.
