Acquia Raises $50M

Commercial open-source software company Acquia has closed a $50 million financing round. The investment was led by new investors New Enterprise Associates, and Split Rock Partners. 

Existing investors North Bridge Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Investor Growth Capital, and Tenaya Capital, also participated in the round.

Ravi Viswanathan, general partner at NEA, will join Acquia’s board.

The latest funding brings total investment in the company to $118.6 million.
