IDG Consumer & SMB, publishers of Macworld and PCWorld,   has launched TechHive.com, a website offering analysis, insight, and conversation on technology. The new site aims to reach the growing, broader base of tech enthusiasts, with a focus on the 18-34 age demographic, says the company.

In the past year, IDG Consumer & SMB built a s publishing platform based on HTML5, responsive design, and in-house applications. This new platform now powers TechHive as well as the redesigned PCWorld and Macworld sites.
