[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Ever wonder what E.T.’s home planet looked like? Well, you can take an interactive journey with E.T. and see for yourself now. Games publisher Chillingo, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, in conjunction with Universal Partnerships & Licensing,  has released E.T.: The Green Planet for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The new game was developed by Strawdog Studios in partnership with Big Play Digital.

The game, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of E.T., allows you to fly past the moon and soar across the stars together with E.T.  Once home, E.T. must save the dying planet by creating enchanted gardens full of intergalactic plant life. You can use E.T.’s magic healing touch to breed new and exotic species.
