Yahoo Acquires Propeld

Yahoo has acquired Propeld, makers of the Alike Nearby iPhone and Web app, for an undisclosed sum.

According to its corporate website, Propeld will no longer support the Alike Nearby iPhone and Web apps. The Propeld team is expected to join Yahoo Mobile.
