Verizon Doubles Data Center Capacity In Canberra, Australia

Verizon has doubled the capacity of its Fyshwick data center in Canberra. The company now has more than 75,000 square feet of data center floor space in Australia, divided among centers in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra.   

The Fyshwick facility delivers co-location, managed security services, secure gateway, virtual hosting, secure Internet gateway and identity management services, and connects to the federal government’s ICON fiber network.

Verizon’s network incorporates more than 200 data centers  located in 24 countries around the world.
