IBM and Francisco Partners have entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of The Weather Company assets from IBM by Francisco Partners.

New Relic has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Francisco Partners and TPG. The acquisition will be an all-cash transaction, valuing New Relic at approximately $6.5 billion.

Global investment firm Francisco Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Forcepoint, a cybersecurity solutions company, and a subsidiary of Raytheon. 

Perforce Software, backed by Clearlake Capital and Francisco Partners, has acquired Methodics, a provider of intellectual property lifecycle management and traceability solutions for enterprises.

Israel-based DriveU.auto, developers of connectivity platform for autonomous vehicle teleoperation, has raised $4 million.
