Systum, a provider of a cloud-based, digital operating platform for small to medium-sized businesses, has raised $7.5 million in Series A funding. The investment was led by Underscore VC, with Hearst Ventures also participating.

Systum says it will use the funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
