Symantec Opens New Operations Center In Virginia

Symantec has opened a new, expanded Security Operations Center (SOC) in Herndon, Virginia to support the Symantec Managed Security Services (MSS) group.

The new SOC in Herndon – formerly located in Alexandria, Va. – joins Symantec’s other global SOCs in the UK, Australia and India as part of the first line of defense against cyber threats for customers around the world. Symantec’s SOCs analyze more than 12 billion logs worldwide each day.
