Susan Wojcicki steps down as CEO; CPO Neal Mohan to lead YouTube

Susan Wojcicki is stepping down as the chief executie with YouTube, after nine years, Ms. Wojcicki said in an email to all YouTube employees on Thursday.

YouTube chief product officer Neal Mohan will lead YouTube after her departure.

Ms. Wojcicki has been part of Google for the last 25 years, ever since the company’s inception. She was incidentally also Google’s first landlord, renting her garage out to the founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.
