Sony To Axe Some 10,000 Jobs Reportedly

Sony is reportedly chopping some 10,000 jobs according to a Mashable report by Stan Schroeder that is based on a report in Nikkei. Rumors of layoffs at Sony have been doing the rounds for a while now, especially since the company had a 90 billion yen loss, sold off LCD panel business,  named a new president and CEO, and restructured the upper echelons of management.
