Soccer Star Cristiano Ronaldo Launches Online Engagement Platform

Viva_RonaldoReal Madrid soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the biggest worldwide celebrities on social media, with over 67 million fans of Facebook and over 23 million on Twitter. He has now started his own online engagement platform, Viva Ronaldo, available in both web and mobile versions.

Available in beta since May this year, Viva Ronaldo attempts to bring together the soccer star’s fans, and provide a digital roof to the hundreds of dispersed communities on him scattered throughout the web. Fans can follow Ronaldo’s live matches, support/predict his in-game actions, play trivia challenges, and collect points and rewards, among other things.

Viva Superstars, a joint-venture co-founded by Cristiano Ronaldo, Polaris Sports, and bViva are behind the initiative. Upcoming developments include the release of an Android app, location-based content, fan career and access to Ronaldo’s social recommendations, say Viva Superstars.
