Sarcos Robotics secures investment from Caterpillar, GE and Microsoft

Sarcos Robotics, a company that makes dexterous industrial robots for use in unstructured environments, has secured a round of funding from a group of investors including Caterpillar Ventures, GE Ventures, and Microsoft. The company announced the funding in a statement, but did not disclose the amount. The amount raised is a reported $10.5 million.

Cottonwood Technology Fund, together with the company’s three co-founders, Ben Wolff, Dr. Fraser Smith and Dr. Marc Olivier, also invested in the financing round, says the company.
