Qualcomm snags Penny Baldwin from Intel for chief marketing officer role

Qualcomm has appointed Penny Baldwin as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Ms. Baldwin will be reporting to Steve Mollenkopf, chief executive officer of the company.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Ms. Baldwin was vice president and general manager of Global Brand Management at Intel. Prior to Intel, she was executive vice president and chief marketing officer at McAfee. Ms. Baldwin has also held senior leadership positions at companies including Yahoo, Young & Rubicam, Arnold Worldwide, McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather, according to a statement released by Qualcomm.
