Polaroid Debuts Android Interchangeable-Lens Camera

Polaroid unveiled an Android-powered compact interchangeable-lens smart camera, at the International CES.

Produced by Sakar International, an authorized Polaroid licensee, the iM1836 camera features the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and comes standard with a 10-30mm optical zoom lens. The cameras will hit store shelves in the first quarter of this year, and cost $399.

Auto blink detection, auto face exposure and pop-up flash are some of the features of the cameras, that also capture wide-angle panoramic shots, and 1080p HD videos. The Polaroid iM1836 cameras also let users instantly upload and share pictures.
