Placer.ai raises $4M

Foot traffic analytics platform Placer.ai has raised $4 million in funding. Investors in the company include Array Ventures, IrishAngels Ventures, and Stage Venture Partners, as well as angel investors Ran Makavy (Lyft), and Craig Abrahams (Playtika).

Placer.ai harnesses mobile data from devices, and applies AI, machine learning, and big data analytics to generate insights and behavioral predictions for any location, store, or geographic area. The company, founded in 2016, has offices in Los Altos, California, and Tel Aviv, Israel.

In a statement, Placer.ai said its current customers include CBRE, Caesars Entertainment, Oath, Bain & Company, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
