Palo Alto Networks to acquire Dig Security

Palo Alto Networks has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Dig Security, a start-up specializing in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), with offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, and New York. Financial terms of the deal was not disclosed, but the transaction is reportedly pegged at $400 million.

Dig founders Dan Benjamin, Ido Azran, and Gad Akuka will continue leading their teams in joining the Prisma Cloud team at Palo Alto Networks after closing. Dig Security’s DSPM solution will be integrated into Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Cloud platform.

Dig’s DSPM solution enables organizations to discover, classify, monitor, and protect sensitive data across all cloud data stores.
