NIMH awards SAIC $48 million technology services contract

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) awarded Science Applications International a task order to continue to support information technology (IT) services.

The NIMH Software Development and IT Services single-award task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total award value of approximately $48 million, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed at the NIMH Rockville, Maryland locations.

NIMH is the lead federal agency for research on mental disorders. It is one of the 27 institutes and centers that make up the National Institutes of Health (NIH). NIH is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Awarded under the NIH CIO-SP3 Government-wide acquisition contract, the task order includes services, such as desktop support, infrastructure support and custom software development, maintenance, and enhancement.
