New Yahoo Android App Shows Custom Stories

Yahoo_Android_appYahoo has launched a new app for Android, which showcases personalized stories.

“It’s designed for those moments when you need short news summaries to help find what you’re looking for, or when you have more time to enjoy them,” says Fernando Delgado, senior director, Mobile and Emerging Product, with the company.

The app streams summarized stories with images, and a button to share articles via Mail, Facebook, Twitter, or any other Android app you may have installed, which supports sharing.

Yahoo Search on the phone has also been revamped with tabs for Web, images, or video.
