Lytro Opens World’s First Light Field Imaging Studio

Lytro

Lytro has launched a light field imaging studio in the fashion district of Tokyo, Japan. This is the world’s first such studio says the company, and provides visitors an opportunity to interact with and explore light field technology first-hand.

Among other things, the studio is expected to provide dynamic exhibitions of living pictures and 3D imagery, which are captured and processed through Lytro’s second-generation imaging platform: the Lytro ILLUM, a software-defined light field camera.
