Lenovo, Pivot3 team up for smart city security solutions

Lenovo and Pivot3 have inked a partnership to develop, market and sell a new set of edge computing solutions optimized for smart city security. The integrated appliances feature Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) ultra-reliable ThinkSystem servers powered by Pivot3 HCI software, the two companies said in a statement.

The new Lenovo/Pivot3 solution is currently available and installed in markets across the globe, say the companies. Proof-of-concept testing is also available at Lenovo’s Innovation Centers.
