Leidos Wins $12M U.S. Air Force Software Contract

Leidos was awarded a prime contract by U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) to provide software solutions to the Unit Command and Control (UC2).  The single-award cost-plus-fixed fee contract has a four-year period of performance and a total contract value of $12 million. Work will be performed primarily in Reston, Virginia and Morgantown, West Virginia.

Under the contract, Leidos will develop a software-only capability that meets the legacy requirements and provides improvements to the user interface and operational capability using Agile development processes. UC2 Operations is a suite of tools deployed within fixed and expeditionary bases for Command and Control (C2) at the wing and squadron level.

The AFLCMC is one of five centers under the Air Force Materiel Command and is the single center responsible for total life-cycle management of Air Force weapon systems.
