Kaazing has closed $17 million in new funding.

Kaazing delivers real-time, detailed, and responsive information on any platform, including mobile devices, but with a great deal less complexity and cost, says the company. The Kaazing Platform enables a ‘living Web’ with real-time, interactive, collaborative Web communications over a “full-duplex pipe”  using the HTML5 WebSocket protocol design. Kaazing founders Jonas Jacobi and John Fallows helped contribute to the HTML5 WebSocket protocol design.
